
Dr. Lugo is a higher education leader and consultant passionate about building intentional communities, mentoring the next generation, and driving innovation in fraternity and sorority life. As Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life at Georgia Southern University, he leads with a strategic focus on student success, organizational development, and community impact while also engaging in nonprofit and entrepreneurial ventures that expand opportunities for leadership and growth.

Dr. Juan R. Guardia is a seasoned scholar-practitioner in student affairs, bringing 26 years of leadership experience across diverse institutional settings. He currently serves as Vice President for Student Affairs at Texas A&M University–San Antonio. In addition to his administrative work, Dr. Guardia has taught as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Cincinnati, Loyola University Chicago, and Florida State University. A proud Cuban-American and first-generation college graduate, he is also a lifelong member of Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
